Shoddy / Android
A little order
for everyday bills.
Shoddy is a simple Android bill tracker for keeping track of due dates, recurring bills, payment status, and who handled payments. Use it on your own, or choose to share bills with the people managing them with you.
In development. No public download is available yet.
01 / What’s due
Keep the dates straight.
Add bills with a name, amount, and due date. See upcoming and overdue bills in a list or calendar.
- One-time, weekly, every-two-week, monthly, and yearly bills.
- A calendar with month and week views.
- Device reminders with default or per-bill settings.
Reminders need Android notification permission. Device scheduling and battery settings can affect delivery; reminder preferences stay on each device.
02 / What’s paid
Keep the history.
Mark bills paid and look back at previous payments. Record the paid date, actual amount, and a note when you need one.
- Payment status and history for recurring bills.
- “Handled by” responsibility and “Paid by” attribution for shared bills.
- Archive bills while keeping their payment history.
Payments happen outside Shoddy. These are records you maintain, rather than bank transaction confirmations.
04 / Start simply
Your bills. Your choice.
Start locally without creating an account or connecting a bank.
Signing in alone does not upload local-only bills. Cloud backup and sharing are optional, enabled separately for each Bill Group.
Shoddy focuses on bills. It does not make budgets, detect subscriptions, move money, or provide a financial dashboard.
